I am currently P3 in 6 years program and I am international student (F-1 VISA)

I'm wondering which setting will more likely to provide a sponsorship (H-1B VISA, moreover, green card), retail? hospital? industry?

search previous threads about this

you know what a priority date is? over 6-7 years for EB3... marry your classmate for green card now

I can't find any threads regarding my situation.. :-(

Could you please guide me which colleges are accepting in 6-7 years medical programs ? I did my schooling from Albany, New York on depend H4 Visa. I am willing to get any medical programs after MCT. I have gone through many medical colleges, they all are now allowing only Citizens and permanent residence(Green Card) student only. Guidance will be highly appreciated.

This is a pharmacy thread.

MCT? MCAT?

There are only few medical schools that accept international applicants and many require that an applicant has sufficient funds to complete a 4 year program (~$200,000 hold in escrow account) and a bachelor degree from US. These are all pretty much private schools. Public school tend to never accept an international student since tax money will be practically paying for a foreigner's education and there's no guarantee that she/he will practice it here in the US. An MD-PhD is a way to get in if one does not have necessary funds. That's why you don't see a lot of international students because of the high barrier of entry.
