Hello
My question is that can a student from another country get admission in the DDS program here. That student will be coming here after 12th grad. So it will be a full 4 year DDS program but I am not sure if any schools accept such international students or not.
any answers appreciated. thanks

Do you mean going to dental school after you have completed up to the 12th grade (i.e. a senior in high school), after you have earned a degree at a university, or as a foreign trained dentist? Generally, the requirements are that a foreign student must complete the equivalent of a bachelors (univeristy level degree) and take the U.S. DAT (some schools do accept the Canadian version). If you are a foreign trained dentist then you can apply for to a PASS (Program for Advanced Standing Students) or similar program, which usually allows these students to bypass the first two years of dental school and go right into the clinic. In either case if English is not your first language then you will have to take the TOEFL exam (Test of English as a Foreign Language) to demonstrate adequate proficiency.

The schools that tend to accept foreign students are usually private as they are not bound by the same obligations and regulations that state funded schools are.
