I am finishing my AA this fall in Biology. I just applied for UF as a transfer student from my local community college. We shall see how that goes. However, I have heard and I don't remember from whom, that UF really likes to see an internship before applying for their Vet school.? Does anyone know more about this?

EVERY vet school wants vet experience under your belt before you apply, and the more and more varied, the better. This can be interning, shadowing, volunteering, working as a kennel worker/tech...whatever. If you are about to start your junior year I would try to get a summer job at a vet clinic ASAP and start racking in the hours.
