How do you get an internship in a clinical research program with a hospital? Some girl I know got one today and I asked her about it and she was very vague..

Sometimes they send out postings but the best way to get any volunteer research position is to email the PI or the Research Coordinator and ask if they need any undergrad assistant and attach your resume. There's really no other way. Your friend may have gotten lucky.
Both of my positions I got through postings on my school's pre-med listserve but I have sought out lab research at my school by networking with some Profs.

You might call local hospitals and ask to speak to the Research Coordinator or the Research Office and ask if there are opportunities to get involved as a volunteer or paid employee.
