Internship in Research Labs

Hi.....

I am final year student of DVM in my country. I am interested in internship in some Research Oriented Microbiology Labs either in University labs or in Professional labs( I think its difficult for Private Commercial labs ). Anybody having idea please do share with me. As I am foreign student, what are the opportunities for me?
