Yep - but only if you're not getting class credit for it. You get one or the other - not both. The expectations of each are different as well, both from the student & preceptor side.
I wish I could get both!! 😉 I have an internship this summer-but I only get paid-no credit whatsoever-even though I have a research project and presentation I am responsible for at the end of the 8 weeks.
Still I'm not complaining. Though the credit would be a nice bonus! Still, I can't wait!!! 😀
