Hi All ~

I have an interview coming up in less than 2 weeks 🙂 and was hoping I could get everyone's input on some typical questions.

I'd appreciate any suggestions or ideas of where would be a good/appropriate direction to take each question....

Where do you see the field of Pharmacy in the next 10 years?
--> I have my own outlooks on the field, but am curious as to all of your thoughts on the future of pharmacy and pharmacists...

And I guess something that I am struggling with is the last part.. when they ask "Do you have any questions for us?" What kind of questions did you guys ask? For my first interview, I asked about how safe the campus is. But I think that was a whatever question. I know that it varies with each school and each program, but I feel that if I ask questions more about their program, they will get the image that I didn't do enough research about their school. Any ideas?

Thanks all for your suggestions and advice - I really appreciate it ESP since I am feeling VERY nervous~! 😱

How safe is the campus........did you interview at Wayne State by any chance? (its in detroit..........)

Give us some inpt...where is your interview?

Have you read the feedback forums?

What are you views on where pharmacy might be in 10 years? If you give us some input...we'll give you some feedback. If you feel uncomfortable doing that....pm me...I'll give you feedback.

As for questions to ask them...start with the practical ones:

When do you expect to make your decision (or when might I expect to hear from you)?

What is the pass rate of the board exam for whatver state you are interviewing in?

What do you feel the strengths of the school are? Research, clinical community involvement, expanded inpatient care, etc...

How many, what percentage of your graduates go on to post-graduate work? Would you encourage that? Why or why not?

What kinds of leadership experiences or opportunities does the school provide or are available within the school?

How active is the school within the political framework of pharmacy within the state?

These are just some......

Good luck!!!!
