Hi everyone!
My name is Maria and I took the DAT last September. I just scheduled an interview with UConn for November, and have also received an email from U of Maryland asking me to fax them a supplemental application and then schedule an interview. I faxed my supplemental last Monday, but still have not heard from them.
Does anyone know how long it takes them to reply? Do I really have an interview?
If anyone has already been interviewed at these schools, please let me know how everything went. I really would appreciate some suggestions / advice.
How many people usually get interviewed at these schools?
My DAT grades were not so good, so I am really surprised (and happy) about being called for an interview.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Good luck to you all!
Maria🙂

Hey,
yeah you really did get an interview at Maryland as this is a school i got an interview at as well. They should send you something in the mail a week after you send in your supplemental. I am schedualed for 1/13 unfortunately so i cant give you my experience. I am also applying to UConn (being an NH resident) but had to send in additional pieces to complete my application. Good luck to ya.

A reoccurring theme at the UCONN interviews is a take off on the "good cop-bad cop routine." One interviewer will make nice chat with you while another will challange you a bit to get a handle on your thinking processes and reaction to stress. Nothing traumatic, but be prepared.

Thank you so much for the replies. I just received a letter from University of Maryland and my interview is scheduled for December. If anyone gets interviewed before me, please let me know how it went and how you liked the school.
My first interview will be at UConn on November 14th. I am really anxious about it, and will schedule a mock interview at my undergraduate school.
If you have any advice, please let me know.
Good luck to all of you.
Cheers,
Maria🙂
