Big news of my day: I got an interview invitation from SUNY, before submitting "Early decision" electronic application (open July,15) or taking OAT test !?! I submitted the mailed-in application in June, and did not expect to hear from them at least until after July,15, so I am shocked (in a good way) and I thrilled to go there soon! I was planning to apply to 12 Optometry schools (and I paid almost $400 for OAT to include all those schools), but if interview goes well, it might be 1 school application process... I have heard that SUNY interview is challenging (I need to know current national and international events? tell them about my weaknesses without destroying my image in the process?), so I am freaking out already.
Is it true that female students should not wear pants to the interview? I have no problem with skirt suit, but it seems to me a very odd...😀

Girl, 12 schools is A LOT! I think you have a good idea - go to your SUNY interview and see what happens. If they accept you then you won't need to spend thousands of dollars on all the other schools! It sounds like you must be in pretty good standing for them to offer you an interview so early, so you probably don't need all those backups. Good luck!
