interview at alma mater?

i'm curious how many people are getting interviews at their undergrad (if it has a med school of course). i know that some places like to admit their undergrads while at other places you are actually at a disadvantage. i'm particularly interested because my undergrad (ucsd) is the only uc showing me any interview love so far and i've heard mixed responses about how being an undergrad there affects your chances.anyone have ideas about this or other schools?
