Anybody interview at Utah lately? I did a SDN search and got some good info but it was from last year's interview trail. Anybody have any further input on the interview day and the program in general?

I've yet to visit Utah. I received a personal snail mail soon after the interview invitation highlighting things that I had mentioned in my CV and PS, from the associate PD. Looking forward to the interview. Good Luck to you.

I am a current IM resident at University of Utah. The interview day at Utah is fairly laid-back, just like at most other places I interviewed at. There are lots of opportunities to interact with the residents. Definitely go to the pre-interview dinner- it is a very casual setting in a brew-pub restaurant that will give you a chance to talk with the interns and residents. I have been very happy with my choice to come here. It has been a solid training program, and the residents get along well and do things together outside of the hospital.
