I did not want to bump any old thread but wanted to ask if that color of the suit is ok or too light for the interview.

BTW, it's not me on the picture.

Coming from a lady's perspective, I like it. I don't like the tie in that photo but the colour of the suit is nice. I have to wear a suit everyday at work, and so do all of the people I work with so I showed it to my coworkers. The male physicians I work with also gave it a thumbs up. It would be nice in comparison to the sea of black suits I've been seeing at my interviews. Blues or greys make for a nice change.

I just thought that accepted colors are black, dark gray, charcoal and navy. So, I just have this color.

I agree, the suit is fine, but I do not like the matching tie, a color would be better. Personally, I wore a navy suit to my interviews.

I do not like the tie either. I just found best color match on google to the one I have. I just do not think I can go buy another suit right now.
 
I wore a black suit with colors of the school I was interviewing at for my dress shirt/tie. I think it's a good way to stand out and no one else did it
