I have 2 interviews on the same date (usc and ucsd)... :scared:
What should I do? What good reasons to tell ucsd (for example) to re-schedule the interview? Did anyone have similar experience? 😕

I haven't had this problem, but my suggestion would be to simply call the one you hope to change, and simply tell them the truth (you don't have to tell them which school the conflict is with, just state that you have another interview invite on the same day). Then, either they will tell you they can reschedule you, or they will say no, in which case then you could try rescheduling the other school before you have to just make a decision to tell one of them no.

Good luck - it's great that you are getting so many interviews.

Thanks for your help...
My only concern is can I tell them the truth?

yeh i'm worried i will have the same problem, but haven't been back to my apt to check the mail.. how much time does ucsd give you to reply/confirm the interview?

I am in the same boat- I just received my invite from UCSD today (yeah!) but I also have USC on the same day. I am scared to change USC or UCSD's date because I know USC will most likely pick a large # of applicants from their 2nd pool of interviewees, and this is UCSD's first round of interviews. UCSD's letters says:

"We we only entertain changes to your assigned interview date and time if you have documentation that you have an examination on that day or a strong family or medical reason that neccessitates a change"

It gives you by January 13th to confirm the interview. Crap, this sucks.
