I got my confirmation letter for my PCO interview date today, and it turned out to be the wrong date!

I was scheduled from the phone call for Dec. 19th, but the letter has me on Nov. 28th...that's this coming up Tuesday! I was too late to call since I got my mail late, and its holiday weekend, so I can't tell them until the day before the interview (Nov. 27th) :-(

Do you think I should suck it up and do it Nov. 28th (final paper due the next day), or tell them Monday (Nov. 27th) and reschedule? It would cost me twice as much, but I don't want to look unprofessional by changing dates. It honestly wasn't my fault; I had the date repeated and repeated it myself on the phone, but I don't know if they'll believe me.

Thanks for your advice.

I would reschedule if it is going to potentially affect your current schooling. I interviewed at PCO not too long ago, they are very friendly people. I hardly doubt they would care if you needed to reschedule..just explain your current situation (sounds legit to me).

Good luck.

Hi - I was just wondering if either of you had a pre-counselling session with PCO. I just got a letter in the mail saying I should schedule one with them. What does that mean?

No, I didn't schedule a pre-counseling interview. I pretty much counseled myself throughout the whole application process, but then again I always kept up-to-date with all the requirements needed to apply. However, if you feel there are some areas you are not certain about (ie, paraprofessional experience, OAT prep, etc.) then I would seek further assistance.

no worries. i had gotten a letter with the interview date of oct 20 instead of nov 20. just call and ask them to confirm. it was fine and they admitted the mistake. good luck

Thanks all that replied. I called them today, and it was their mistake...thank goodness.

I never heard of or got offered the pre-counseling session with PCO, so can't help you there...sorry.
