So I just got an invitation but it's late in January 28. I know that interviews start sept/oct so what is my chance of still being accepted aside from how well I do in my interview?

It's not IDEAL, but you still definitely have a decent shot at acceptance. Since you didn't provide any stats, I'll try and oversimplify this as much as possible:

Let's assume if you interviewed pre-Dec 1st you had a 50/50 shot at being accepted. All things being equal, your chance of being accepted with a January 28th interview are probably somewhere around 1/3 or 1/4 just because a large portion of the schools class will already be filled up by that point and therefore your competing for fewer open spots.

3.75 ogpa/3.5sgpa/21aa/22ts/23pat/17qr/1000+hr as dental assist/400+ volunteer/committee letter with good lors in it.

Those are my stats. Do u think all the spots are filled up around this time for interviews before December?

The interview process extends to April for many schools. It is true that some spots will be taken, I don't think any school will have a completely filled class by February. I think your chances are still pretty good!

How pre-December does the interview need to be in order to get a December 1st notification? If I am interviewed in mid- November, will I still get my notification by December 1st?

I had one of my interviews mid-november and heard back from that school on december 1st
