A school is offering MMI interviews as early as in 2 weeks, and as late as Feb. I was thinking of scheduling for late Sept/early Oct to prepare. Does this sound solid?

I know what matters most is preparation and I can be prepared early September too if there's really any difference in terms of rolling admissions, it's just that the extra time would be nice. I saw other threads on it but wanted to ask more specifically about my situation since it's so early in the cycle

All admissions Are affectively rolling, it’s just when the school announces that change As an all at once or a little at a time. All interview invites are rolling and that is more important. It is certainly more important then when you actually have the interview. Schools prioritize valuation of applications and offering us invites and therefore the earlier invite is a good rule of thumb how interested they are in the applicant. The weight that your application carries does not diminish appreciably over length of time to wait for the actual interview. In short being early for submitting a paper application is important. But once have been invited for an interview the impact your timing is small. And schools generally announce most of their acceptances Well after the new year

This helped, thanks!

"Rolling admissions" has nothing to do with this!

Gotcha, so as Gonnif said, what matters more is when you received the ii, not being a few weeks earlier vs later when actually interviewing? I haven't seen anyone post about iis from them yet so I'm guessing it's an early batch
