I am applying to PRS this year and would like to know in what time frame I should expect to be interviewing...if I get any interviews at all. Would any of you out there, who applied this last year be willing to share the time span over which you interviewed? Or anyone else who has good information it would be very helpful.

Thanks

90+% of the plastics interviews will be in december and january. There will be a few in november and 1 or 2 in february, but the bulk will be in january. I would advise you to not schedule anything during those two months so that you can go on ALL of the interviews you are invited to.

Thanks for the info. It is very helpful. Anybody willing to post program specific dates?

There used to be a list on plasticseducation.com, but it got taken over by bots so I couldn't access it for you. I do know that Georgetown's first date was 11/22 and I think MCV and maybe Ky had one the week before then. It really doesn't matter because they'll schedule them whenever they want. This year, Salt lake's was on 12/18 and last year, it was 01/30 or 31. You can't go on last year's schedule because they'll schedule whenever is convenient for them and doesn't matter if the applicants can make it or not. This year, Hopkins, Mich, UTSW, and U Chicago (I think it was them) were all on the same day so a lot of people had to pick.

Most were in Dec-Jan with Mich state on 2/6, Cornell on 2/13, and Oklahoma on 2/18 (or something like that). Definitely take Dec and Jan off if you're expecting more than like 5 interviews!
