Hi all,

I'm an MS3 set on PM&R and I have researched the programs and created a rudimentary list of Yes's and No's based in info from FREIDA, the university website, and forums. Thanks to all who have contributed to interview experience threads throughout the years. I'm wondering if anyone can provide info on a few schools?

NYU

SUNY Downstate

Baylor University Med Center, Dallas

UPenn

I'm looking for a program which emphasizes sports, is supportive of research, and has a good atmosphere (teamwork, happy residents).

I added my thoughts on Penn to the experiences thread, but I'll throw in a short version here.

I found Penn to be a promising place to work, since they're buying all the hospitals in Philly, but the residency program is weak right now. Most residents are there for the Penn name. On the plus side, they have lots of in-house fellowships and their residents get dibs for fellowship and job spots. Also, they're 2nd behind Jeff for location in Philly but way ahead of Temple.
