If anyone receives new interview invites since 10/5? I asked the people who I met in the interview, and they said most of the interviews they received were sent in Sep. I wonder if schools stop sending out interviews because they need time to consume the interviewee?

No, I"m still receiving interview invites (mine started later because my last recommendation letter came in late so my application was not complete until middle of September.) So keep on running out neurotically to the mailbox like I am everyday! Because they are still coming...

I'm sure you'll still get them. For schools they are very busy, they are probably beginning to schedule interviews into the holiday season, which each school handles in a different way.
Some schools don't do interviews in the period between Thanksgiving and the New Year, while others will do a couple in between Thanksgiving and Christmas break.
Typically schools use that time period to regroup. Remember, they have to give out acceptances on Dec. 1, so many will stop interviewing shortly before Thanksgiving, send out acceptances, and then reevaluate the number of interviews they need to give out from that point on.

Thanks Gavin. As I guess, most schools' interview schedules have filled up before Dec. 1. Although the chance of acceptance after Dec. 1 would be lower than people who get interviews by Dec. 1, it would be beeter for me than not receiving anything from schools.

Don't worry about not interviewing if you haven't gotten any letters. Heck, I didn't even get my AADSAS turned in till December; I got my interview invite at the beginning of February. Don't sweat too much. You've still got all the time in the world.

Phew! That makes me feel a lot better Aphistis because I have a couple interviews scheduled after the holidays, and I was thinking maybe it might make it harder for me to get in because I was interviewing after the Dec. 1st date.
Mangocat. Don't worry. If you read back to previous posts in 2002 and 2003, a lot of spots (about 50%) will not be filled until early March, especially for some schools, NYU and USC. As long as you get the interview, you will be fine to get in. I still woryy too. However, everyone can feel your feeling since we need to go through this together!
Further, some schools will accept you on the spot if you are interviewing after Dec. 1, which is always nice!
