I received an email on Tuesday with an offer for an interview at Campbell U, which stated to reply within 48 hours to confirm your interview acceptance, upon which they would send out detailed information regarding the interview. How long should you typically expect to wait before receiving the follow up email?

If you sent a reply accepting the interview immediately, I would probably call tomorrow and make sure you are confirmed and have the necessary information before the weekend. You need time to make plans.
