So, I've finally decided that I will walk in there with two copies of my resume and personal statement. Never had a formal job interview, so my question...when should I offer them the resume and personal stat? should I wait for them to ask? Or is this whole thing just so that you can look formal and prepared, carrying a business folio in hand. Everyone pulled this off?

(I know I'm fretting over small things)

if you are talking about a med school interview than you do NOT need a resume or personal statement. They already have both and you WILL NOT be asked for them. Carrying the portfolio is so you have somewhere to place the handouts that they give you

I went out of my way to get black pleather folio thing for my NSU interview. However at that particular interview we were given similar folio things in the morning with a pad of paper inside. I recommend bringing one just to store the handouts and stuff, HOWEVER I do not recommend preparing to give the interviewers any sort of handouts, the reason is they already have a comprehensive file and just want to know more about you, like your personality and such. In other words, what they want to know about you at the interview will not be able to be summarized on a piece of paper. I hope this helps!

Thanks guys! I just thought maybe a resume/ps might make me look extra-prepared, but I think I'll drop it, just to avoid an awkward situation.
Thanks!

I did the same thing, lol. It was stupid to carry around 2 portfolios all day:laugh:

It was amazing. I love the school. My interview went flawless. My interviewer said, "You were very very impressive. Any school that received you as a student will be very fortunate." So that helped me feel good about it😀 .

What did I tell you! So, has Nova risen its ranks? Congrats on a great interview and for getting your top three interview choices.
