Hey...

I have been invited for an interview @ PCO next week. Does anyone have any tips on what questions they ask and any other thing that might help plsss???
I am actually flying in from Canada and I am really looking forward to this interview.

Thanks!🙂

I'm stunned. That reply has no sarcasm or negativity; it actually leads the OP to helpful information!

I like this kinder, gentler Gochi! 👍

Thank you so much guys...

dam man they're still interviewing this late and still have me on hold?? i am so confused, why are they interviewing people if they say the class is full already? this is ridiculous

I interviewed at PCO in November. It was a one-on-one interview, very laid back and easy. They asked typical interview questions like: Why are you applying to optometry school, who/what influenced you to enter optometry, why PCO, what do you see yourself doing after you graduate with your OD degree, what are your strengths and weaknesses, leadership roles you have participated in. After the list of questions, the interviewer just wants to have a conversation with you. Dont stress over it, just be confident and most importantly, be yourself.

OMG, I don't have the interview until 20th of April, wonder if I still have a chance?! I have completed 128 credits with 3.94 GPA but still not graduate until december 09. My OAT is 350 (TS 380). I took it like 2 weeks ago. It takes me 10 hours to drive to Philly for the interview, don't know if i should make it if the class is already filled and so many people on hold.. Any advice, please?

If you don't graduate until December of '09, how would you enter the Class of 2013? School would start this upcoming August, and that is confusing...

I think the class really is full now, but it's possible that a lot of deposits will be withdraw on/before May 15th.
I would consider working for a while after graduation, then apply to more schools since your scores can probably guarantee you a seat to...anywhere. (Congrats on those stats, btw)

P.S. You will probably get scholarship offerings with your scores, but this would be much more likely if you applied early in the cycle, since money is so tight right now and they might have offered all the scholarships for this cycle already.

Well, it's because my school doesn't offer the class that I need to graduate until next semester. PCO offers rolling admission so as long as i have more than 90 credits, i can apply. Btw, thanks for the comment...I always do things last minute so now if lucky, i'll be in "standby" and hopefully many applicants will withdraw...I don't want to wait another year in KY...this place is gettin boring!!!
