I would start by looking over your application.
-read over the schools website.
-formulate questions to ask while on the interview
-Schedule a mock interview with career services at your school.
-consider taping your interview to see how you react to questions.
-talk to students that are currently enrolled at the school your interviewing at.
-work on your handshake.
-get professional clothes.
-look up issues involved in dentistry that are current.
Are you guys following up your interviews by sending your interviewer an email to thank them? Should we treat this like a business interview or just wait until we hear from the school?
I wish I had my 1st interview as a practice, but unfortunately my first interview was with my first choice. Luckily it went well, but feel like I could've done better if it wasn't the first one. Oh well, after the first interview, the rest usually go smoothly. No more worries. No more anxiety. All became natural.
