Hey... from reading the Interview feedback link.. i noticed that some people would have like 3-5 INTERVIEWERS...

but would have like ONE on ONE interviews...

does that mean that you had SEPARATE interviews?

i'm more confortable with one on one rather than a group panel that's why.. so just trying to figure out what to expect..

the interview feedback is really helpful.. but i just wanted to make a clarification on that one thing bothering me 😛

thanks!

It totally depends on the school. For instance, Univ of Washington has only one interview but with three interviewers. But when I was at Univ of Maryland-Baltimore, I had three inteviews (back-to-back) -- two one-on-on interviews (one with a faculty, and the other with a upperclassman) and also a group interview where there were 2 interviewers with 5-6 applicants all together. So like I said, it depends on which school you're interviewing with.

I agree with the previous poster... it really depends on the school. Hopefully that interview feedback link will help you figure out more details about the schools you are wanting to apply to.

For me, I had an interview with 2 people at once. The whole adcom was there and calling out people on a continuous basis from our group. Usually it was 2, but sometimes 3 people interviewers. They were a mix of faculty and upper level students

so, if a student will have 3 interviews, but each one on one... the interviews would be back to back? like one after the other?

Like... those interviews done at UOP in CA... was that how it was done?

it's one after another. at uop, u have three 15min interviews with two 2nd students and one faculty member. i think it sucks because 15mins is way too short. the interviewer can only ask you a few questions and it's time for you to move on to another interviewer.
