Hello guys, I was going over the interview sample questions for my future interview, i came across couple questions where I had no idea what to say/ what not to say..... ny advice/ suggestions?

1 a) What would you do if a member of your group wasn't pulling his/her weight?
--- besides "talking to them"
1 b) If your group member refused to work, what would you do?

2) In what direction is Pharmacy profession heading?

thanks in advance, will appreciate your input

As for the last question, someone posted a good article to read:

"A Vision of Pharmacy's Future Roles, Responsibilities, and Manpower Needs in the United States"
<http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/409605>

As for the other two questions, it is kind of subjective. Can you think of an example where you had trouble working with a team? Maybe for a class presentation or in something extracurricular or even at work? What did you do? What do you think that you should have done, either to prevent the problem or to solve it? If you would just talk to the individual, what exactly would you say? How would you motivate them into getting involved? And if nothing worked, would you end up picking up the slack or dividing the work amongst the other members of the group? And etc.

I don't know if I have helped you much, seems like I just gave you a bunch more questions to think about. In the end, I think that your answer should reflect your attitude towards working as part of a team and your expectations of what an effective group dynamic should be able to accomplish.

Well, first of all.. thank you very very much for posting that wonderful link... its a nice article and in a way i got an perfect answer to my question # 2...

regarding group work questions you brought up good questions/concerns, i m still thinking 🙂 and open to suggestions.....

once again thank you IsoPod...

I was asked both of those questions during an interview.

I brought up a situation i had working at restaurant, dealing with a lazy employee, that was not working when i was not around. I explained that first I sat her down after work discreetly and told her what I had seen and heard. I asked her if something was wrong and if she wasn't happy working there. I explained that I did not attack her but gave her benefit of the doubt. At the end of the talk I told her what I needed her to do, obviously start working harder and not standing around because it affects everyone at work and makes for bad relations with other employees.
At first she started to improve but after a week she started to slack off again so i took her aside again and explained that I really didn't need her and I could give a majority of her hours to other people who wanted to work, this threat caused her to turn around, she wanted money i guess.
After the anecdote I explained to the interviewers that first I like to confront the person in a nonconfrontational way and make sure everything is ok and make some suggestions. If things do not improve then again i confront the person and explain why what they are doing is hurting the group or staff as a whole and if they do not improve these are the actions I am going to take, whether it be report them to upper management, cut back hours or report them to an instructor. bla bla
Well that is how i went about the question. I think coming up with an anecdote from your past is good way too start and then ending it with the key steps of how you solve those kind of problems.

Can anybody post that article please?
I also wanted to ask where can i find inerview sample question?
I have an interview on the 28th and it is my first. I have no experience
