I've been looking over past Purdue questions and this seems to be a very popular one...but I'm not sure about how to go about answering it. What do you guys think?

so like pick a celebrity who is similar to you? or pick a character in a movie who you are similar to? lol
well, ive been told that i am a lot like scarlet johannson. as for the character, omg that is too hard i have to think about that one. this would def stump me at an interview!

LOL, I got that question. I said the first thing that came in to my head. Julia Roberts. I said that I remembered her in Erin Brokovich and how she was a woman who stood up for what she believed in. They asked me if I stand up for what I believe in. I said yes. It was all pretty cheesy, but I got in.
I think you can definitely overthink this one. Just pick someone and be able to give a reason (it doesn't have to be a particularly good reason). They are just seeing how you can think on your feet and if you can talk about something that isn't vet med.

Bahaha - just joking. I think that as long as you have an intelligent, thoughtful answer you'll be fine - I'd recommend going with someone that they'd potentially know -- and also being able to explain past the "I look like them or act like them" line 🙂

I like this question! Even if you were caught off guard with this one, at least it isn't some ridiculous question that you won't know until you actually learn it in vet school 😛
I would pick Natalie Portman because she's intelligent (Harvard grad) and always plays very strong women in her movies. That and I'm totally in love with her so if anyone ever played me in a movie I would want it to be her!!
