Hi everyone,

I am invited for an interview this oct. in chicago for may 08 cycle. I want to knw what should I expect. And if invitation to an interview is an strong indicator for offering admission

thanks lot.

Well, it's certainly not a bad thing. Still, they interview tons of people that don't get in. If you are confident in your numbers, experiences, and reccomendations, don't blow it on the interview, you'll have a good shot.

Of course, it also depends on what school. Are you talking about SGU, Ross, AUC, Saba? Or maybe Spartan? I'd assume an interview is much less of a guarantee of admission at SGU than it is at Spartan.

I have interview at ross.
gpa 3.6
mcat 19M
research, lors, volunteer work the whole package.

lab assistant for biochemistry and gen chem I and II.

19 on the MCAT, but tutor for chem/o-chem/biochem? What was your score breakdown? 😕

Vr 4
Ps 8
Bs 7

Figured VR killed you the most.

Honestly, you have a shot, although not a great one. Still, I'd retake. Plenty of people have been able to improve 12 points, in which case you'd have a great shot at a US school. It will take one extra year, but patience is a virtue.
