During an interview, if a school asks you for your top choice.. if they're not your top choice, how should you go about it? I don't want to lie and tell them they ARE my top choice when they're not. I also don't want to go praise another school in front of them. If anyone can give me an input about this, it would be great! Thanks!

I was asked this question yesterday at my UNLV interview. I tried to be honest. I told them I wasn't sure what my top choice was yet and that was why the interview process is so important to me. Interviewing at schools is a way of determining my top choice. I also told them that my top choice will also be determined by how my wife feels about each school and each location. I told them how impressed I was by their school and that it was really attractive to me.
