Where did you get this question from? I would guess it has something to do with taste buds but I wouldn't know why. But really, why do you ask?

It doesn't matter what the right answer is, it is only how you present yourself when trying to answer.
 
I think it has something to do with acclimatization, kind of. You know, like when you go from warm water to cold water how it feels colder. It's like that.
 
there is a foaming agent added to toothepastes called sodium lauryl sulfate which blocks the taste receptors on your tongue that detect sweetness. so sweet things you eat after brushing your teeth don't taste sweet. instead, they taste gross.
