I was asked this question during an interview last year, "How does oral care fit in today's economy". Can someone please answer this question for me. Thanks

oral care = absolute necessity in todays economy along with medical health care. should be more affordable so that everyone can have it. Since oral exam may be a predeterminent of various health issues e.g. diabetes, oral cancer, periodontal disease, heart disease (possible). read some research on this.
Main reason why not everyone has it is because it's so expensive. I have a good number of friends that do no have dental insurance and will only go to the dentist when they have a tooth ache that may be due to a cavity or infection, etc.
Just google the topic of oral care and America today. Browse around and read as many articles and peer-reviewed materials as possible. the more you know the better you can expand on whatever you are going to talk about. good luck. Hopefully, this kind of gives you an idea of where to start.
