How are interview questions?
Do some schools ask about current issues?
I knew a guy who interviewed for dental school and was asked his opinion on HMO's.

What kinds of questions should we ask to the interviewer?

Check out www.predental.com and www.predentistry.com

They both have a pretty good list of "sample" questions.

All of my interviews have been very laid back. The mainstay questions on the interviews I have been on: 1) why dentistry? 2)why this school? 3) any activities which demonstrate hand skills? 4) any experience dealing with people?

About questions, just make sure to ask INTELLIGENT, RELEVANT ones, this includes ANYONE to whom you speak. When I was at UPenn, a girl in our tour group asked our student-tour guide what her GPA was thus far...needless to say she got a lot of weird looks from both us and the student.

Anyway, I am sure every school varies, but this has been my experience thus far.

Hope this helps and good luck!
