I was sitting here contemplating my experience this last cycle of applying and was reflecting on how I could do better this next cycle if I get some more interviews. I got one this last cycle out of 12 and it was at a pretty nice school. I was interviewed by a faculty member and these were the questions I was asked and I am just wondering how everyone would answer them. I want a wide scope here:
1. Why dental school? (don't tell me you're just good with your hands)
2. Why THIS school?
3. If you were in the clinic and saw one of your class mates doing a procedure on someone that you knew you hadn't learned yet as a class what would you do? If he told you he had learned the procedure from a book what would you do?
4. Do you have any questions for me? (Personally I have the hardest time figuring out the best way for answering this question and coming up with my own questions so any ideas would be much appreciated)
I'm thinking I screwed up on my interview so I want to get a feel for how everyone else answered. Let me know if you are already in, applying, etc. so I can get a good perspective on it. Thanks!
