Does anybody have any general advice on interviews? In particular, do you recommend that we have a good amount of knowledge about the state of health care in the United States right now and the ways that have been proposed to reform the health care system?

I had my Indiana University interview Monday Sept. 20th and have my Louisville interview monday and from what I experienced and from what my fellow U of L predents have told me, they do NOT want to know all that you know about healthcare...at all...They want to know "why dentistry" "tell me about yourself" ect...I don't know where you are applying, but at these two schools I know for fact it's fairly laid back. RELAX....They have your numbers on paper...they want to know YOU (as in your PERSONALITY) so don't freak out. Good luck!

Dentistry is kinda on the outside in these reform debates (although I've pulled up something on DMO's just recently - google some info about that). I doubt an interviewer will ask for your opinion on this issue. On the other hand, if it's a medical school interview, you'll be expected to have a logical answer to those particular issues - because it does directly affect physicians and nurses. So don't worry...The post above me = 👍
