Do schools send you something if they've decided not to interview you? I've been done with Harvard's and Penn's application for about 3 months now, and I haven't received so much as a word. Is not hearing anything basically the same thing as a rejection? Or should I call up the admissions offices and ask what's up? I'd rather know they don't want me, then keep waiting...

I've applied to 13 schools, and I have interviews with NYU, Michigan, UF, and Miami...and none of the other schools have sent jack to me.

Any help would be much appreciated, and would go a long way to calming my nerves...

don't stress too much over it, trust me, i know how grueling this wait period can be. as to your question, schools will let you know if you haven't been selected for an interview, usually by snail mail or email (i haven't come across a school that calls in regard to interviews). if you haven't heard back from these schools yet you most definately still have a shot, so don't get worried about it. calling them would be a good idea, just to get a status check on your app. most secretaries will tell you your status over the phone. i've also heard that some schools actually get back to the person right away after speaking with them, because when you call, they usually pull out your file and if a decision hasn't been made yet, they stuff your app in the next pile that's going to the committee. anyway, best of luck to you and just remember, try not to get too discouraged. i'm in your exact same shoes for about 30 some schools right now and in all honesty, the wait period truly does suck, but there is nothing really that we can do now. take care and best of luck once again.
