Interview Reschedule, Need Help ASAP!

Hey Guys,

Sorry for the urgency but I need to respond to a program and wasn't sure how to structure my response. To make a long story short I had to reschedule an interview with a program due to an emergency. I emailed them and heard back from them a couple of days later and unfortunately the date they are providing me with falls on a date with another interview I have scheduled. So my question is how shall I phrase my email in letting them know that I still want to interview with them but can't on the day they are giving me.

I was thinking of jut saying that I already have another interview scheduled that day but I did not want it to come off like their program is any less important than any other one. It's a good program that I am interested in and I didn't want this to hurt my chances of being ranked or their impression of me while I interview with them because I worded the email the wrong way.

If anyone has any advice, especially Gutonc and aProg, please let me know so that I can email them soon. Thanks for the help.

I apologize but the new date that you provided me with does not fit with my schedule either. I would very much like to interview with you. Are there any other dates available?

Just don't be shocked if they say "sorry that's the only date we have left".
