I just got an interview invite from a program that I am very excited to interview at and was given 3 choices of dates. I am available any of the dates, as it is so early in the process.

Is there a general consensus on advantage of early interviews vs late interviews...getting in fresh vs having some practice?

If it's one of your pre-season top picks, go with the middle or late interview. You won't be on top of your game yet during the season opener. You become much better at answering their questions after you've heard them a few times.
