Interview time period

During which time period (i.e. October, November) did most of you guys receive the bulk of your interview invitations? Although I have received quite a few interview invites already, I wonder if most elite programs wait until the dean's letter arrives and start inviting applicants?

I think I got my SRH, Columbia/Cornell, & RIC interview offers around the 2nd week of October. My Kessler & Mayo interview offers came in later October/early November.
