I have interviewed for a school in last year and have not heard anything back. I have seen a few people from that interview date get an acceptance. Do they just take longer to decide with some applicants? And why wouldn’t they send me a waitlist email or does this mean I’m probably rejected?

Many schools do not tell their waitlistees anything until the end of the cycle.

Like it or not, you should consider yourself rejected and be working on Plan B.

Sorry this happened to you, OP.
Sometimes, a reviewer is pokey about writing their note. We are asked to complete them within a few hours but there are always those people who get behind in their assignments and the applicants who are sweating bullets are the ones to suffer.
