I finally got my first interview as well at USN! I am so excited! It is on Jan 18th at 2:00. Anybody else going on this date?

Does anyone know how many people interview with USN on a given day? Just curious... I can't wait! 🙂

Congrats smilescali!! If you don't mind me asking, when did you turn in your application?

I turned in my application in Sept. and just heard from USN this Sat. regarding the interview. They gave me a choice of 3 dates:

1. Jan 18th
2. Jan. 21st
3. Feb. 1st

I am not sure how many interviews they are going to give, but I know that these are the first interview dates so far. 🙂

Congrats on the interview invite. I also got an email this saturday from Deyoung. I tried calling him today but he wasn't in. Im hoping to get the Jan 18th spot.

Does anyone know if this is the first day they are interviewing?

Congrats to you also! 🙂 I am pretty sure that Jan. 18th is the first interview date. I emailed Dr. DeYoung on Sat. night (like at 10:30 pm or something.) I didn't have to think about it at all. USN is my top choice (my only choice) 🙂

This is my first interview as well. I am just reading the interview feedback section here on SDN. My husband quizzes me sometimes on what I am going to say. The main concern for me is to not get so nervous and just try to relax and answer the questions. I know everyone is nervous though. I think they are going to ask questions about what we wrote in our essays.

You may not want to include your email address in posts, since sometimes the wrong people (hackers, harvesters, etc.) can come across them. SDN provides the option to PM other member. If that isn't an option you'd like to use, I'd suggest writing out the symbols as words (AT and DOT).
