Background: My AACOMAS application has been verified and I will not be writing my MCAT till mid-August.

Question: Has anyone ever received an interview without an MCAT score?

Since an MCAT is a requirement, I highly doubt any adcom would bother interviewing without an MCAT score (unless it is a school that does not require it, but I think all US medical schools do). Did you put on your app that you will be sitting for it in August? If you did that they will hold your app until they get your MCAT score.

cant say you'll get an interview before they receive your MCAT score but i didnt take my MCAT until august and after my scores were released i still was offered an interview and got accepted...so if the rest of your application looks good you should be fine

Is it posible for to share more details about your application (stat/schools etc).

I would say it's highly doubtful.

For a specific example, I know that at OSU-COM they have offered interviews solely based upon your secondary, before your primary is officially complete (they don't invite you to fill out the secondary, you can do it before your AACOMAS is finalized). This person submitted their secondary before they got their MCAT score back and got an interview. The thing is that you can't actually interview until they have a complete file. So you might be invited on an off chance that the rest of your application is amazing, but honestly its is very unlikely.

Yes.
My friend received an interview invite to an in-state allopathic school prior to her MCAT score being released. That's got to be really uncommon though.
