During the last admission cycle I made it to the interview phase. A few weeks later I got my rejection letter. Then last week I got a call from the school wanting to ask me a couple of questions. It turns out they feel I am missing some credits in the humanities area.
Has anyone hear of someone getting to the interview phase with prereqs missing that have not been scheduled?
Oh, at the interview, they asked to ensure I was finishing my science requirements but mentioned nada about anything else.
Confused.

I interviewed without having 2 pre-reqs done that I am currently doing this summer. My acceptance was contingent on taking these classes during the summer. However, they talked to me the interview about what I still needed. They told me that they wouldn't consider the lack of courses when they made their decision. That was at University of Tennessee

I was also accepted at the University of Tennessee minus one pre-req on the condition I complete it this summer. They talked to me about it at the interview and told me it wasn't the most essential pre-req but I needed to complete it this summer. I just missed it because I didn't need it for my other schools.

Anyway, I think your situation is different. I am surprised they didn't mention it to you at the interview.

I seem to be missing about 12 credits.
I was a nontrad when I got my first degree, and all my gen-ed requirements were tested out of and credited by ACE. My second time around all I needed were the science courses. Now it seems if I want to apply there again, I'll be back taking some humanites.
Wonderful are all the different schools prereqs.😱
