hey Guys,

so I just have one more question about interviews (this is my first time applying to dental school). So all the schools should of by today (friday Oct 13th) received EVERYTHING for my applictions to be complete. I was waitning on DAT scores and a letter but all that got sent out early in the week. So my question is do you guys think I will be hearing from the schools for these oct/nov interviews or likely the jan/feb ones? Or do they take a while to review the applications?

My stats are posted as AA/TS/PAT

Great stats. It's mid Oct, so they're scheduling interview for their pre Dec 1 decision. Giving that they want to have 2-3 weeks in Nov to make their decision, you're looking at 2-3 weeks of turn around time. That means you have to come in the beginning of Nov, meaning they have to call you within the next 2 weeks. If the admins are that efficient with their time, but since those people on the admin committee are professors/deans, their schedule is not very flexible.

Unfortunately, like the answer to most questions, it depends on the school. Nova, for instance, started handing out invitations in July and are already scheduling interviews for the late winter, so unless they left spots open for last-minute invitations, I highly doubt you will be able to get a pre-December interview there. Try checking out predents.com to get an idea of how far away each school has already scheduled interviews for.

Really depends on the school. But your stats are amazing, so my guess is most schools will be getting back to you with interview invites very soon. Good luck!
