Interview

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I believe it depends on your strength of application. I applied very late. I actually submitted my final application hours before the deadline (haha oops), but I had strong scores on my OAT and GPA. My application was incomplete as well because some professors needed a little prodding to get my letters in.

Anyway, I received an invitation e-mail for an interview last Wednesday (2/25) for the interview on Friday (2/27). Of course, I reserved my place immediately and went as soon as I could. The interview process went well, and I was accepted during my exit interview with the assistant dean.

While I was at my interview, I talked to a few others who were there with me. One of them applied by January, and another had applied as early as December. I was surprised I had received my interview in the same batch as them, but I think it was because of my strong scores (which were all fairly above average according to the opted class profiles).

Good luck with your application. If you do get your interview, you can PM me about how it went. I'd be happy to help.

Tizzle is correct. It all depends on how strong your application is (esp. GPA/OAT for UHCO). I submitted my app during the last week of Jan...my LOR arrived to complete my app 2 days later and then i received an interview invite 3 days after that. So, for me, it all happened within a week.

I knew ppls that waited for a month before an interview invite and others who waited 3 months and only got a rejection letter. It all just depends.

Good Luck with everything! If worst comes to worst and you have to re-apply and you really are set on going to UHCO, you should contact them to talk about what they think you need to improve on. Everyone is SUPER friendly and very helpful.
