Will wearing a skirt suit in the east coast while it is snowing look ridiculous? I only bought one suit, a skirt suit, and I don't want the ADCOMs to thinks I'm just some senseless california girl
I'm not a girl and I'm not from the east coast but If I were on the admissions board and you came in dressed in a skirt while it was snowing I would not give a single f***
i'm pretty sure i've seen people around here going to work in skirts in the winter. as long as you don't have to walk outside a lot i'm sure you'll be fine!
Yes, it will keep you very warm, which is a plus.
However, tights/nylon is very unprofessional and not something I would want to wear to an interview. Defeats the whole purpose of dressing profession doesn't it? Pantyhouse is a different story, but those don't keep you warm...
Can't say I'm a fashion guru but someone chime in on this one.

at my interview, there was a girl who was dressed completely casual - sweater and scarf with khaki pants. she was from the city and our interviewers were all super casual too... maybe she had an advantage over us other girls stifling in our suits :/

You must be a guy...nylons = panty hose and tights are just a little thicker. They are very professional and do keep you warm, even seemingly thin panty hose. I battled 2 winters in Chicago as a financial analyst...I'm an expert at cold-weather, professional dress attire!

Wear the skirt suit! Bring extra shoes if it's snowing- there'll be a place to store your coat, boots, etc.
Do wear nylons though... I don't suggest tights with your skirt suit and interview shoes though
