I was feeling just fine before December 1st.
Right that date passed, I became paranoid. I am checking
my mailbox 3 times a day. I check my email almost like 10 times a day. Let me hear from you all who are in the same situation. If you like, give us a word of reassurance. Thanks.

I feel the same way buddy. Dec. 1st was the start of a flush of VERY disappointing days. I get slightly excited to get off of work and check my mail. Then that small bit of hope is crushed when all I find is credit card offers or bills.
This is not fun 🙁

i'm right there with ya'll. all of my interviews went so well i thought and all the schools were so positive and like, "oh yeah, you're a great applicant...blah blah blah" and now all i get is the shaft.

That is exactly how I felt!! I thought all of my interviews were really strong. My interviewers actually told the students to be nice to me because "we really want this one..."
Do they say that to everyone? Another one of my interviewers told me that it would be a fluke if I didn't get in. I was so confident that I had a good shot. Now... waiting... waiting.... waiting... STUPID JUNK MAIL!!!

Classic, I know exactly how you feel! I always take the pre-paid return envelopes out of those things and send them back. 37 cents, that will teach those stupid a$$es to play with the nerves of a pre-dental student!
And as for the point of this post, I had five pre Dec 1st interviews and am still waiting. (Creighton, Case, Nova, Temple, USC)

I don't worry quite as much about VCU as MUSC. Most people I see that have received acceptances from VCU also got them from several other schools. They can only go to one school. On the other hand, there is my first choice, the only like in-stater school. Most of the accepted applicants are not going to reject the invitation. If I don't get one soon, I won't!!! Yeeps!! 😱

LOL!!!! I never thought of doing that. That's pretty funny. I'm in the same boat as the rest of you. I have term papers and finals coming up and I can't focus on anything! I'm hounding my mailman like a dog.

I just got accepted today. I don't know what took the letter so freaking long to get here. I havn't been able to focus very well on my finals as well. I've been a walking wreck.

Have you guys tried calling schools? Some will tell you over the phone, some wont. It's worth a shot you know.

What about those schools that don't answer their frigging phone or have an automated answering system saying that they will not give out admission status over the phone? (*ahem* UCSF...UCLA...USC...)
