I have an Interview at case next month and was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to stay. Case told me that for $40 I could stay at the Dental Frat house. Has anyone heard anything good or bad about that?

I'm not sure what the lodging is like there but I think that it would be a great choice. You will be staying with students of the school who can answer any questions that you have or prepare you for interviews. You can leave your luggage in the house while you interview and it is only a short walk to the school from the house. Plus when you arrive you can take the Rapid Transit right to the school (from the airport for $1.75) and then walk to the house. So ou could cut down on taxi fees or renting a car. It's a great cheap route to go plus if the students you stay with are cool you could get some great extra knowledge.

The lodging is crappy but it's only for a day. It's really good to be able to talk to students from all years and ask them questions. I think the RTA is up to around 2.50 now, but I'm not sure.

So for one day, it's fine. I think The triangle apartments also has model rooms that they rent out for ~75/night. It's also very close to the school.

Hi, I am also wondering about a place to stay at Case. If anyone had ever stayed in Dental Frat house before, I would greatly appreciate your answers. Is the frat house only for guys, not girls? Is it going to be noisy at night? I just found a link for RTA, hope the information will help someone: http://www.gcrta.org/pd_airport.asp

I had buddies that had nightmares staying there. They complained of things like drunken d-3's prouncing around in their underwear 'til 3 am. One said he had to breakdown the door when he arrived since nobody was there. Another said the couch was cozy.

That is what I know from good sources. I did ride the RTA myself, just don't do it after dark. Cleveland is cool, but you might become a target at night no matter who you are, especially around the RTA stop at university circle.

Good Luck, PM me if you have additional questions about the interview itself. 🙂

The frat is coed. We currently have 2 girls living there. I suppose it can be a little noisy with people walking around, but we try to be quiet during the week. ...the weekend is a different story. Im not going to lie, the place is dirty but it aint that bad. It's only $40 and you get to talk to current students to get a feel for everything.

Try to bid on priceline.com. I got one night stay at Embassy Suite from priceline for only $60 when I interviewed there last year. The hotel room was great, comes with complimentary drink as well. Get a good night sleep is important before the interview day.

I just want to clarify, staying at the frat house isn't a bad idea, just keep in mind that it isn't a hotel by any means. So you need to decide what you need. 🙂
