Interviews already!?

I was already invited to an interview. I couldnt beleive it. I submitted my application on Sept. 1st. Anyone else?

For people given interviews, was your application complete (including LORs and personal statement), or just the CV portion? I have not submitted my application yet, so I was just curious. 🙂 Also, what are the caliber of programs (or specific names, if you don't mind) that have already started offering interviews? Do psych interview slots generally fill early? Thanks!

I am a USIMG who passed everything on the first shot with below 90 scores with US psych externship experience and a packed CV. I didnt send in my LORs yet but i got 1 interview and 2 rejections so far. I also had 2 other progs contact me for the usmle transcript and lors (ecfmg delayed the upload of the usmle transcript. btw i have a feeling these 2 may invite me.) I applied so far to every non-californian program (waiting for CA letter.) (so far over 150 progs. will be 170 soon. did not apply to puerto rico and the military programs.)

i feel once my lors get uploaded i should get more invites. i will have 4 us lors including many psych ones (which i dont know what to do with.)

my goodness-you applied to 150 programs? I feel bad now I only applied to 5-that blows my mind

got 3 invites so far with no LORs uploaded yet. 1 or 2 other progs showed interest but i guess they cant invite me without the lors. the reason i applied to so many is so i can get enuff interviews to safely match without worrying about taking the first prematch that comes my way. also i may have applied to some impossible programs yet i feel there may be a small chance i may get an interview if someone else drops out. u never know.
