Interviews and Christmas vacation

First post here,

I was wondering what peoples experiences were with interviews and the holiday vacations possibly overlapping- Haven't heard from several schools that I emailed about whether or not they hold interviews break.

Follow-up question: if most schools do hold interviews during Christmas break, is having a plane ticket/hotel reservation for vacation normally grounds for negotiating interview timing with a school?

Thoughts?

From my experience, many schools do not actually hold interviews over the typical vacation weeks.

In addition to the above, schools are usually pretty flexible when it comes to rescheduling interviews or the invite is given with a choice of dates.
