Just wondering how many people a program interviews per spot. Is it generally around the same number or does it depend on program?

you can find that information for most programs on FREIDA, which is at http://www.ama-assn.org/vapp/freida/srch/
it seems that most programs interview ~10 people per spot, but there are some outlyers (harbor-ucla interviewed 200+ for 4 spots last year)

Last year the places I went were probably ~10/spot (based on # at my interview x interview dates).
With interviewees overdoing it and going on >10 interviews, things don't match up, which is my personal opinion why there were so many good programs with empty slots pre-scramble last year.
