Hello fellow neurologists-to-be,

I was wondering...what is the best way to present a patient when asked to do so in an interview?
How much time do we have?
Should we go forth with all the pertinent details (CC, HPI, PMHx/PSHx, SocHx, FamHx, Meds, All, Neuro exam, Labs, Imaging, Assessment with DDx, etc.)?
Just curious what others are prepared to do...please advise anyone?

Good luck everybody!

wow--they actually ask for full pt presentations on interviews? 😱

Since this is supposed to be off-the-cuff and not something that we prepare in advance I would just give CC with the basic Hx and relavent neuro exam and spend more time being enthused about what you learned from the case or how it made you better. I haven't been asked yet though.
